Our webiste is now in the process of some changes as a result.. it's taking us a little longer than expected as Catherine, LITA's founder, is in Uganda right now working on projects for orphaned children and those efforts are using most of our time and focus.. but one of these days, we promise, you'll happen by here and be welcomed by a wonderful new site ~ Love ~

Love Is The Answer - LITA - is a Canadian registered charity working in Africa that assists orphaned children and caregivers of orphaned children in areas of poverty relief and reduction, the advancement of education, and the development of local community initiatives that benefit orphaned children.

LITA develops and supports projects that foster the children's survival and well being, and promote conditions leading towards their empowerment and self-sufficiency, through self-directed programs and sustainable income generating activities.

Heartfelt thanks for visiting today. At Love Is The Answer it is our understanding that there is a very special and important role for us each to play in uplifting the millions of orphaned children in Africa needing our help right now, and we appreciate your interest and your presence here.

The BRICKS and BEDS Project -

At present we are focusing on collecting donations that will help a small community in Sironko, Uganda build and furnish a Child Care Center for 60 orphaned children. The children, all in need of full time care, were displaced from the former center last year when it flooded from heavy rains.

You'll find info about the BRICKS and BEDS Project here..

Perhaps you would like to sponsor bricks, or perhaps a bunk bed or some bedding in the name of a family member, friend, teacher/student, employer/ee.. we'll be happy to send gift cards for you to give them, like the one pictured here!
