Millions of children in Africa greet each new day without parents. This video share photos and experiences from my inspiring journey in Uganda where I spent 9 months with orphaned children in child headed families and local community initiatives. Thanks very much for watching.

AFRICAN CHILD FAMILY

Here are 3 short videos in one that tell about about relationships, experiences and accomplishments shared, when I worked alongside child headed families in Uganda for several months in 2008. In general terms, child families are families in which both Mom and Dad have died, in many cases due to HIV/AIDS, and the oldest sibling, having stepped up into the parent role, is trying to care and provide for the younger children.
