Blessings and Love ~
I rec’d an email update from Vincent in Uganda.. he shares a little about new ripples of cooperation and community between caregivers of orphaned children that are being experienced as a result of the heifer project.
When I read this I was brought to tears, feeling so humble and empowered all at the same moment.. it’s such an amazing feeling.. all the goodness that can arise for everyone when we come together, when we share together, from our hearts. I’m so moved and grateful to read this simple news..

Vincent writes.. “This heifer project has created another great impact to group members.
As we grouped the care givers in groups of five this has enabled them to create a system of helping each other in financial problems.I learnt that if a member has a problem i.e. when he or she needs money like 20,000/=, they jointly share this money by raising 4,000/= each and they give to that member hence he / she solves the problems which was disturbing him / her.
It has also enabled them to dig in groups on their gardens.
This has created them cheap labour. I believe as this system continues they are developing the spirit of self reliance. We appreciate care givers heifer project because it has become an eye opener of caregivers.”
